..............................................   Researching the movie theatres that were once found along Pennsylvania Avenue in West Baltimore is difficult. The photo above shows the block where once you could find the New Albert Theatre. The theatre was located at 1230 Penna Avenue " near Dolphin Street", and was torn down years ago for the house project you see above. ....................................................................    A few ads from the New Albert Theatre on Pennsyvlania Avenue in Baltimore City. The ad to the left , featuring "A Bucket of Blood", " The Giant Leeches", "Attack of the Puppet People", and " Astounding She Monster", were all showing at the New Albert in 1962. Can't say I've ever seen those movies even on cable tv !     " Shotgun" above is circa 1956, " The Last Command " is circa 1955. ............................................ .......................................
