before it was torn down. The Diane out survived the Royal and Regent Theatres,
but even this old theatre couldn't outlive the changes that Pennsylvania
Avenue has undergone. The old theater has been replaced with a modern church. |

The theater also went by the name of the Carver Playhouse in later years
. "Petticoat Fever" was released in 1936, " Love Laughs
at Andy Hardy " in 1946 and " White Witch Doctor " in 1953.
