| The Ambassador has in recent
years, been used as a church, a beauty school, and again as
a church. The theater was built in the mid 1930's, and it's opening helped
shut down the Gwynn across the street. The Ambassador is
a real gem of a building, and the exterior has survived the
years quite well although the interior has been completely gutted. In July
2009 , the building was up for auction, but as of 2011, no one has bought
the building. The building still stands as of 2012. |
